Don’t underestimate expectation management 👇🏼

One of the lessons I learned early on is that expectation management, when you are a freelancer and working with clients, is everything. ✨

If you from the start, tell your client exactly what you’re gonna do, how you’re gonna do it, and what the results are that they can expect, they’re more likely to be happy with your work and the outcome.

If you over promise, the only thing you can do is under deliver, and that will result in disappointment.

But, if you’re straight up with what you can do, you may be even under promise a little bit, they’re gonna be happy with the result. 💁🏼‍♀️

Make sure to communicate your process or steps that you take and update them even if they didn’t ask .

These are things that I’ve not always done very well and i’m still learning.. and when i haven’t done this properly it’s always led to disappointment or even losing a project 😭🥹

So learn for me and make sure you manage the expectations that your clients have of your work and the outcome.
