It's based off the F-117 Nighthawk, a stealth "fighter" that was almost exclusively used as a ground attack aircraft. It would have still been in service when this controller was made, but the plane is now mostly decommissioned and replaced by other aircraft like the F-35 Lightning 2.
The controller is a neat novelty but looks like a pain to actually use. For better and worse, they sure don't make things like this anymore.

That's some serious star fox right there. I almost mistaken it for N64 because there's a N64 game as well. I can imagine if it were also compatible for the N64. That would be sweet.

Dude that is the street and most awesome controller I've ever seen and i thought the wavebird was weird and cool. Of course if i had one, i would cut off the cord and turn it into a proper space ship for my kids to play with. I wouldn't bother with stickers because my kids would turn it into a space port for their toys lols. It is really awesome
