It's been a month since I last commented on this video, and I've been using the vertical plugin alot since then. Below this are my thoughts thus far: - When I use the plugin on my iMac, it does raise the CPU usage from 5% to 50%, which worries me although I've heard there is an update to fix that which I hope fixes that issue. - It also has cut down the process of me having to write down when the moment happened, go back on youtube and use an app to record the moment myself, and transfer the files from my phone to my pc. The plugin has been great for getting alot of shorts when I stream, as it's allowed me to create alot more shorts since they automatically save to a directory on my pc when the hotkey is pressed to get the clips. - At first it was kinda tricky getting things to scale how they needed to for the layout of how I wanted each scene to look for shorts, but after it's all setup it works well on my gaming pc that has a GPU in it. - Final part: How have my shorts performed after using this feature? The answer is the plugin hasn't really affected the performance of the shorts too much, since the layout I use is fairly static so the only thing that changes on screen is the gameplay. Overall, this isn't going to get you an insane amount of subs and views just by using the plugin, but it has been alot easier making shorts with it and I can see some people using it to make crazy things. I give the vertical plugin a 4/5 and I do recommend looking into it if you're someone that makes shorts and uses OBS.
