when I went to flight school they had a Beech 18 that I never had the chance to fly. It was hit by a fuel truck in a major storm and totalled by the insurance company before I got to fly it with my instructor.

so glad to come across stuff like this straight from an experienced source. the machines that got us to where we are and how they did so could very easily be lost to time, even in the age of information. never stop documenting history! the generations that came after need to learn from the successes and failures of their predecessors!
