Watch me eat pure capsaicin

Capsaicin is basically pure spiciness, and it's the main chemical that gives chili peppers their heat. Even in the stronger ones like habaneros, there's actually very little in each pepper. It's so strong that when I've tried it in its pure form, I don't even find it very spicy, and it kind of just hurts.

There have been many comments saying that it's spicier if it's dissolved in alcohol or oil and I agree! Even though it's technically "less concentrated", it's way worse. I will do a follow-up video on this!

All those YouTubers "one-upping" each other with the "next hottest pepper".
Nile: just skip all the trashmobs and speedrun to the last boss.

"Ugh"

With those words, Nigel explained the whole chemistry course in college

EDIT:
Since some of you are confused, the YouTuber NileRed's real name is Nigel Braun. Wouldn't it be stupid if I call him Nile when it's not his name?

The pinnacle of human evolution: eating the literal poison that plants make to ward off predators because you like your food with a dash of danger.
