I believe it has to do with storage, my pc was doing the same thing until i got more storage

Its the storage hard drive on the xbox. Simple way to fix it is delete some games to free up some memory

It does work for people in the us. Doesn’t make sense people like me and you outside of America to connect to google servers thinking it will be faster when the server is in America. I’d say reset your Xbox to default setting and don’t mess with any network settings such as dns etc. just use either Wi-Fi or lan. Lan preferably

I saw a similar video just yesterday about using DNS but it was an old video, after changing the DNS he went ahead and changed the Port, he said to use he last port .
This past weekend I kept trying to download Halo Infinite but my download kept stopping, it got so bad that the download decided to restart from 0, I got frustrated and just deleted it all together.
I'll however try to mess around with these DNS settings

If you still have the issue I recommend clearing your MAC address because that’s worked for me a lot .
If you don’t already also use an Ethernet cable for a more stable connection

Had an issue the other day where when I’m downloading a game it stops and fails half way through the install and the way I got it fixed was to cancel the download completely and download it directly from the Microsoft store. (Not by just clicking Y and searching from the Home Screen)

i’ve actually had this problem with my xbox games on pc, not sure how to fix it besides uninstalling the app. but with the console theres gotta be some sort of workaround

Idk if this would help, but if your installing disc games and it randomly stops over an over, you can cancel the the install, then go over to the game in the xbox store and press install. However, you'll need to keep the disc in to install and play

The best dns depends on where you live and there's like a thousand different things that affect your internet speed

Connecting to googles dns or any other Alternative Dns doesn’t always make your internet faster, and can in fact can sometimes make your internet worse and even cause other issues as well.

As someone familiar with networks...
1- your local Xbox servers are getting bombarded and slowing down.
2- your isp is throttling your connection to those servers
3- your isp nat is filtering the ports used by the Xbox services
4- your router is filtering the ports
Solutions:
1- none, it's a Xbox server issue
2- get a VPN, use it for downloading
3- get a VPN, use it for downloading
4- change router settings or get a gaming centric router

If you’re on wifi you need to connect to 5ghz and make sure it’s not an SSID that has them combined.

If it's an HDD it might be failing, I suggest replacing the hard drive. If it's an SSD it might be because you have too many games installed, the more full the SSD is the slower it is. Also cloud flare DNS might be faster

I'm not suggesting this does or doesn't work. Just sharing my experience.
I have had this download issue with my xbox for a long time and have tried many ideas to fix it, just tried this one and it didn't help unfortunately.
I thought hopefully someone in the community may be able to help me please?
