2. try reducing the amount of acid(gastric acid) that is secreted in the stomach. This is achieved using some medications known to reduce acid production in the stomach. This treatment is given irrespective of the cause of ulcer.
3. Try to neutralise (dilute) already secreted acids in the stomach, this one gives you a quick relief from the ulcer pains and other symptoms you are having at the moment.

ULCER PREVENTION is a possibility for those who start early in life to adopt some lifestyle modifications to help reduce exposure to causes of ulcer as they were mentioned in this video.
1. Avoid chronic and excessive use of NSAIDS (NON-STEROIDAL ANTI-INFLAMMATORY DRUGS). These drugs have the capacity to reduce the chemical called prostaglandin that favours the production of protective substances to your stomach, therefore having a stomach wall without a shield.
2. Avoid exposure to the bacteria H. pylori. This is gotten from contaminated foods and water. so practice adequate food and water hygiene.
