Your hair is retaining length beautifully Sis! Itās a testament that one size does not fit all. I have fine, coily strands. My density is on the lower side but has increased in the last year due to using henna and strictly finger strangling. What Iām observing is black women with natural hair thrive when they keep their hair stretched and dry (as in not wet while ensuring the inner core of the strand is hydrated). Some can keep their hair stretched with flat ironing, some with blow drying, twisting or like me, with braiding (my own hair). Itās so interesting to see how everyoneās hair is different, even if it may appear similar. I love to see us all obtaining the hair we desire in different ways!! š

Sounds like a great routine that works for you Iāve personally stopped wearing weave this year and my hair has improved dramatically. I am not sure about silk pressing my hair Iāve not had a great experience with straightening my hair in the past I got a lot of breakage the last time I straightened my hair but maybe if I follow your technique it wonāt happen
