Why is no one here?! 🥹

Since travelling to Sumba and exploring this incredible island, we’re confused as to why more people don’t come here…

Pretty much everywhere we travelled we had the place all to ourselves 🤯 We visited West Sumba and really recommend this side of the island!

The main roads in general were easy to drive, with a few crazy dirt tracks and driving through fields to get to some of the locations (but it’s all part of the adventure, right?!)

The people here were so friendly and welcoming, and while they don’t speak much English, we were able to communicate with the Indonesian we knew.
