I took a class like this in highschool called construction tech. Never got to build a house, but one was already built on a flood plane, so the city let the class go in and absolutely demolish it.

I built a house in high school for habitat for humanity. Then in college our construction class built a house and auctioned it off and all the profits were split between us for our student loans.

I hope the price reflects the amateur craftsmanship. Don’t get me wrong.. I think this is a great experience for the students. But they’re simply not going to build a house as well as someone who’s been doing it for years.
