How did the ancient Chinese turn mint leaves into perfume? #perfume #shorts

Did you know that in ancient times, the Chinese created a unique type of perfume from mint leaves?
First, they would pick a few fresh mint leaves along with some honeysuckle flowers, wash them thoroughly to remove any dust, and let them dry. Next, the mixture of leaves and flowers was placed into a clear glass bottle, then filled with 75% white liquor until the ingredients were fully submerged. The bottle was tightly sealed and left to steep for about seven days. Once the liquid turned a deep green, the essence was filtered out and poured into small bottles.
Because of its high concentration, the essence was usually diluted with pure water before use. The result was a completely natural perfume with no additives. When sprayed on the body, it brought a cooling sensation, helped repel mosquitoes, and left behind a fresh, pure fragrance of herbs and flowers that calmed the mind.

If you're using a water/alcohol
based perfume add a drop of oil after applying to make it last longer.
