When people look at the gross GDP or per capita GDP of a city, it doesn’t necessarily reflect the correct picture because most such figures are skewed upwards because of a handful of big conglomerates that keep pulling up the average, while the poor and middle class continue to suffer.
An alternate metric to evaluate could be the % growth in number of millionaires in the city over the past 10 years... (2013 to 2023)...
In the top 10 cities, there are 3 from China, 2 from India, and 2 from the US...
👉🏼 The #1 city in the world is Shenzhen with a 140% millionaire growth over the past 10 years.
👉🏼 #2 is Hangzhou in China, with a growth of 125%.
👉🏼 Bangalore comes at #3 in the world with a growth in numbers of 120% - 13k millionaires, 42 centi-millionaires and 8 billionaires.
👉🏼 Delhi is at #8 with 95% increase, over 30k millionaires, 123 centi-millionaires, and 16 billionaires.
👉🏼 Mumbai is at #17 with a 82% increase, 59k millionaires, 236 centi-mill and 29 billionaires.
👉🏼 In Africa, Kigali in Rwanda is almost equal to the number of millionaires as in Mauritius... thus soon becoming the place for attracting investments in Africa.

Fake list. San Francisco which creates most millionaires or billionaires is not on the list but some random cities in the US.
In India, Mumbai and Bangalore are great places to move to depending on your expertise or for general growth.
