What is that Stuff that you're putting around the edges the white tape or whatever what is it called? I bought some stuff at a local hardware store it's joint compound says self and he said it doesn't work it doesn't stick to nothing. Can you tell me what that's called please. Thank you

This is a cool idea, to use a towel. I usually use a sheet or wrapping paper. I've even used printer paper before. Lol 😊
