When you grow up in an abusive home, drama trauma is familiar and sadly comfortable. Healing is a tough road but important or the same type of person keeps showing g up.

It’s not the lack of attention keeping them from leaving abusive relationships. It is the ABUSE! And most women don’t want to leave something they have put so much effort in. So by the time they have been stuck in this situation for 4-5 years they will start convincing themselves “hey, I did all this work, I’ve put in all this effort. So he HAS to change for me.” And he doesn’t. Then they are in a cycle of “oh he’s gonna change” for years and years. AND it takes time to recover from abuse of any form. So if a person gets out of an abusive relationship they will not be used to a good person and being treated right. But if the relationship is normal there will be NO REASON for the woman to start arguments due to “lack of attention”.
