Bro, engineering is much chill and you're matured age wise when compared with 11th 12th, especially if you're preparing for NEET, JEE and simultaneously balancing parents expectations at a tender age. Humiliation by publicly throwing you to lower batches which are deemed inferior and worthless .
Much tougher than above things is when you are unemployed and have huge financial obligations to clear and hearing abuse of all sorts from everyone around 24 x 7 ( yes even in your dreams you will curse yourself)!
Whenever you claim you're better, there's always someone doing far better than you, same goes for the worse situations.
That's the beauty and ugliness of life.😅

Here is some realistic career advice:
Never opt for arts stream or go for any arts related courses. You will regret it for the rest of your life. Careers in Arts/humanities are not that plentiful or lucrative. This is the situation even in developed countries. Majority of the regretted degrees around the world are in the arts/humanities stream.
Talking about preparing for govt jobs, you can get a government job even if you have a degree in STEM or business and the variety of jobs available will be a lot more. The chances of going abroad will also be limited if you take arts courses. In fact, a lot of schools in India don't offer arts stream.
So guys, avoid arts at all costs. Get realistic guidance and select a better career.
