I recently purchased the Haworth Fern chair, and while it has some positives, my overall experience was less than stellar. For the price point, I expected more. The $1500 price tag is quite steep for the features provided, which feel more in line with a chair worth highest $200.
I noticed a discrepancy in the reviews online. On Facebook, there are high comment counts on the product, yet only a few visible comments, all of which are positive. This makes me question the authenticity of the reviews.
I'm currently on the search for a high-quality office chair that rivals my long-time favorite, the Herman Miller Aeron. I prefer chairs that allow for versatility, such as crossing one leg over the other, which is challenging with chairs that have hard edges.
I'm hopeful to find a better alternative and would appreciate any recommendations.

I have those same armrest pads on my Embody after having it on my Uplift Pursuit for a while. Absolutely LOVE them and recommend to anyone who finds their elbows uncomfortable after a while. I work from home and this setup is endgame for me. Nice to see others using them!

Idk why on earth I’ve never thought about getting arm covers like that. These arms are pretty obnoxiously firm lmao. I thought people were being dramatic about it at first but after like a month of owning this chair my elbows were aching lmao! After a few years in this chair I’ve kind of learned instinctively to not use them much 😂

This is going to sound idiotic because I truly have no problem with the arms on the Fern, but watching your vid is tempting me to grab some of those plushy covers. I don't NEED them, but I'm thinking a set of gray ones will add some contrast to my all-black chair & headrest (not counting my blue'ish rollerball wheels).
In the vape community, we say, "Vaper see, vaper do!", and that's exactly what's happening here. I'm even going to get the brand you showed (but in gray).
Now I need to stop watching videos before I go broke. 🤣

I just watched one that said you didn't like the chair. Why did you get the silly green one after that? 🤣 Regarding the lumbar, like everything related to chairs, that's a personal preference thing. I love the lumbar of the Fern. I actually held onto that stupid ALL33 chair for about six months, because the lumbar was the only thing about that chair that was good for me. I need/like very aggressive lumbar. The Fern isn't as aggressive as the ALL33, but it was more than adequate so I did finally get rid of the other. Chairs are one of the most subjective things I know of, which is why I ALWAYS tell folks they have to try it for themselves.
Did you get the Leap yet? I'll be very interested to hear your thoughts on that one.

This really works better than the Lumbar they have. Theirs is REALLY aggressive. This is perfect! Also the arm rests they have will break your elbows. Be kind to your body!
