Many of songs on that album like “Punch & Judy” and “Angeles” are so delicately performed which adds a lot to their emotional impact. Enjoying a peek behind the curtain of how they were recorded.

That’s what I’m saying. A good mix and good production should be that final bit of polish that makes something great, that much greater. You can take the Beatles or the Mars Volta and give them shitty mixed but they’ll still be amazing revolutionary artists.
