This is pretty cool

As it stand currently, Microsoft is just trying to squeeze as much money as possible out of Minecraft - hence Minecraft Dungeon and a few others, before it fully dies out. Now it's very unlikely it'll die out (although still possible) due to the large mods/modpacks, server, etc

Your project, if it could compete against Minecraft, could win just simply based on the fact that you're giving the players what they wanted. Instead of having to download external mods to enjoy the world, its right there in the game, fully supported

So far you've added Distant Horizon & Chisel which are already awesome. My biggest worry would be FPS/TPS issues once it start to ger fully developed (My experience being any version later than 1.13 causing issues both single and multi), but seeing what you've made so far in 2 months is pretty impressive. Im excited to see where this can go, and hopefully one day it can even compete with Minecraft

Cheers
