Look I get it, we love Silksong but let's be realistic here for a second. Silksong might trump every other Metroidvania out there but when it comes to gaming in GENERAL Elden Ring is in an entirely different realm of popularity. That game didn't break steam records and win game of the year just for show. It would absolutely affect Silksong.

If Silksong releases in June, it will definitely compete with Shadows of the Erdtree. However, because both of the games will be on the cheaper side in terms of cost, it won't be as bad as say two sixty dollar games releasing at the same time.
