I always liked the '56 the best even though I wouldn't mind a 2LBT clone. The tail light gas cap, the dash, they look mean high without the bumper. The only thing I don't like about a tri-5 is the 2 doors and more doors shared the same roof, so the side profile is wonky unless it's a 'vert. In '54 they had a Business Coupe where the roof was 8" shorter. I've seen one '57 that somebody did that to and it fixes the only ugly part of them.

I never had to pull the transmission in my 57 Chevrolet to change out the oil sending unit.
