Kinda.. I get it but an easy compromise would be to do it a day before or after. A 1st bday party and a wedding in one day would be exhausting to anyone. Not to mention that's childish and petty

YATA. Selfish. It's all pettiness and stubbornness, there was nothing valid about this. Weddings may be "later at night" but that's an all-day, oftentimes all-week process where everyone will be busy af and your baby is ONE. Like, it's an important milestone but girl, coming from someone whose birthday is right on Thanksgiving, I have had to push my birthday celebration every single year. Doing it once because of a major life event in order to actually make sure people can attend the party is just the right thing to do. You have that party on the wedding day and see nobody from your fam there bc they're too busy with wedding stuff it's on you.

If you knew when the wedding was before and planned the birthday not on the actual birthday date than AH, BUT if you found out the date after the planning and the birthday celebration was and it was on the actual date, then you are NTA since they should know their BIRTHDAY. Plus, that's their 1st birthday! So important!!!

Sounds like your step sister purposely planned her wedding on your daughters birthday. A wedding can be on any day, a birthday date is known and you can't change the date...... just sayin'.

It depends. Is the stepsister's wedding the day your daughter was born, or did you push your daughters birthday party to be earlier/later? If it's the latter, you can only hide your spitefulness for so long. You want your stepsister to suffer for basically no reason. If it's the former, NTA, but you might want to push it a few days. In this situation what matters is did the sister know?
So,
If sister knew and scheduled the wedding for that day - NTA, Stepsis 6/10 AH
If sister didn't know - No AHs
If the birthday was purposefully set on that day/the wedding is not the day the kid was born, 8/10 AH and Stepsis is NTA.
