Why does it bother you that it's "synchronized"? It adds a level of difficulty and team work, makes a sport very interesting to watch. And it's extremely challenging for the athletes. So yeah, they are real sports.

Did you happen to notice how the synchronized swimmers have to use their entire core throughout the entire routine in order to remain balanced floating upside down and keep their legs in position AND moving with special choreography? Go to a pool and try the exact positions and moves they do I dare you.

This is a valid opinion. I see your point. I don't agree with you, but i understand, and it makes sense. All the items you compare to involve a high degree of skill and physicality, and are fair comparisons.
This video took me to ioc standards and to the history of synchronized swimming. You are not the first to take this stance, and the event had to overcome a lot of similar mind folks before it joined the Olympics in the 80s

Synchronized swimming is actually a really hard sport you need to hold your breath most the time and you can’t ever touch the ground I understand people have opinions but synchronized swimming is a very hard sport
