Poor girl, I am sure she feels conflicted. Since it's not her biological mother I am sure she feels even more in debt to her mom and at the same time she can't possibly let go of Song Yan, her lover. She also has an introvert and kinda timid personality which makes it hard for her to stand up for herself. Hope she does what is best for herself in the end.
