Personally, I hate the new game mode. It is extremely buggy and it is just 2 people attacking 1 person while the other person passes a ball to them. I expect bugs in any new game mode but there are just way too many in this mode.
Also the "...nobody plays that role anyway." is basically true. 5 to 20 minute wait time for survivors while hunters have a 2 second wait time.
