This Harrington & Richardson .22LR semi-auto Reising Model 65 is fantastic IMHO. Made to train troops. Watch this video for another interesting American Made rifle:    • SuperbĀ American-MadeĀ FLAIG'SĀ RifleĀ Ā  The Reising Model 65 was made to have a similar feel as the M1 Garand for the purpose of training US Marines during WWII. The H&R Reising Model 65 is incredible to shoot and collect. More coming soon!

My grandfather had one when I was a kid. Great old rifle. Kinda heavy if I remember correctly and it was marked ā€œLeatherneckā€. Hang on to the magazine they’re pretty hard to come by and are expensive when you do.

Pretty neat little rifle I never seen one before that’s the first I ever seen one do a lot of gun shoes, Pittsburgh and Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, but I never seen one like that. Take care of God bless every day above. Ground is a good day.

I picked one of these up at my local gun shop years ago. The shop owners were brothers, one a WW2 veteran and the other a Korean War veteran. They told me that this rifle was meant as a trainer for the Reising machine gun which was chambered in .45 acp. Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway it's super cool and everyone loves to check it out when I bring it to the range.

The comments that aren’t about food are bang on: Mike, (aka: USOG), is every bit as kind as this YouTube personality many longtime firearms enthusiasts have come to know as a neighbour of sorts. He’s quick to answer questions, and he’ll do his best to find a rifle that a viewer might ask him to review. He did this for me, once, and I wish I’d gone through with purchasing the rifle that he gave a very detailed review of. The Anschutz Fortner action equipped rifle would probably be my only 22LR, but I didn’t have the budget for that kind of rifle. As hindsight so clearly points out, I should’ve followed my gut instinct, (and Mike’s review), but I think it’s time for me to sell the Winchester 1894 that’s decorated my "vault" for my entire adult life. It was my great grandfather’s deer rifle over 110 years ago. My disability gets in the way of me using it. The silly little Pin safety that requires the user is squeezing the lever shut is too much for my paw-like hand control. Viva USOG!

I love .22 rifles from the era of walnut and steel. I have the H&R 165 Leatherneck rifle. I can easily use an entire 500 round brick of .22 ammo shooting my 165 and my Mossberg 152.

JR ROTC at Stuttgart American High School used this rifles and other military 22. The rifle range ran the length of the math building in the basement.
Those cadet had access to weapons used from Spanish American war to current cold war inventory.
