Thanks Dr. Pal for upbringing this kind of fasting which is not good for everyone.
I went for a naturopathy diet before 3yrs , which I was 84 kg reduced to 64 kg but down with severe malabsorption and protein deficiency. Still facing my gut issues. Please follow Protein + essential fat + Less carb+ fibre. Eat 7 to 7 pm. Thanks Dr. Pal ❤

It's normal to do 9 days fasting during navratri in common households .... Other than fruits we use kuttu aata ki chapati or syamak khichdi or symak kheer ( all these come under phalahar/ फलाहार)...and additional milk. And you are full of energy for 9 days and being a working women also I never felt hungry or lethergic.

I do 9 days of fasting. However, i drink 1 full glass of milk with whey protein once. I only eat twice a day (Bhagar/Moraiyo rice with sweet potato). I do workout in all 9 days of fasting (including deadlifts, squats etc.)...
Dont worry about muscle loss, fat loss, etc.while fasting. You can recover again after this 9 days of fasting...
It's true that we'll have some muscle loss but in fasting you lose body fat too.
Indian diet is full of carbs and our ancestors never had a problem with muscle loss. Only current generation thinks a lot more on protein, muscle loss.
If you're not a professional body building athlete you should not worry about protein or muscle loss too much. Our body can still manage for 9 days easily.
