In this video we discover how treatment by an osteopath can prove to be a valid help for fibromyalgia. Promoting a reduction in muscle pain and improving the quality of life.

Roberta is a yoga teacher who suffers from fibromyalgia, for some time she has been reporting that she also suffers from neck pain, back pain, and pain in her left arm. In addition to this, she reports some pain in her pelvis and knees, which are highly likely due to fibromyalgia tender points.

This pain did not allow her to fully perform her beloved yoga, giving her neck pain and stiffness in some asana positions.

Since these pains do not allow her to train at her best and to carry out a peaceful daily life, Roberta, a patient with Fibromyalgia, decided to turn to osteopath Nicolò Caraffa, specialized in treating athletes, with problems in the spine, areas where she was suffering, the cervical and dorsal area.

During the visit with osteopath Nicolò Caraffa, Roberta described her symptoms: chronic cervical pain, dorsal pain and pain in the pelvis and knees. The cervical pain is felt as two muscle contractures in the upper neck area. This pain then also extends along the left arm.

Thanks to specific manual techniques, such as chiropractic adjustment, the osteopath worked to remove the contractures in the cervical and dorsal spine, immediately improving the mobility of the cervical and dorsal area. This improvement, thanks to osteopathic techniques, allowed Roberta to reduce stiffness and tension accumulated in the neck, right away.

After the treatment, Roberta felt immediate relief from her neck pain and a lightness in her entire left arm. Other sessions will follow to improve and maintain her pain, also considering her fibromyalgia condition.
