That’s the old systems that impose a lien on the home. I work with a few KW offices in CA as their go-to solar guy. I’d be glad to work with you as well boss.

I sell solar if you purchase it/own it it’s the best way to go and it does add value to your house when you go to sell it, but you must own it!!

You’re not going to have an issue selling the house. Any leased system allows for a transfer or buyout when you sell the house. Also, because sites like Zillow list whether or not a home has solar, people that don’t want solar will never see your house. The same way that people that don’t want a pool won’t include pools in their search criteria.
Solar is the future because when done right, it’s one of the few things that actually improve your quality of life while costing less than the business as usual approach, get with the times or get left behind.
I’m an engineer and it always bothers me when stupid people make issues out of non-issues. The most important thing is to work with a reputable company that doesn’t use high pressure sales tactics.

Why would anyone get solar and not buy it? You don’t get any of the rebates with a lease. I’m 6 years in and I’m already broke even and now have a $9 electric bill each month.
