My oldest was only in the NICU for 2 weeks. I was 16 at the time so it was a lot to process. When we had our second I took her home after the 24 hour waiting period because I missed out on doing that with my first. But with the 3rd and 4th i stayed as long as they would let me because I did enjoy the help.
Just the regular time frame is nice to have the nurses but when you CANNOT take your baby home when you want, it is not a good feeling.

My water ruptured at 20 weeks my son came at 23 he is now on week 7 I can’t wait for him to come home 😭😭

I felt so lost on what to do my baby had a blood infection and i had supposed friends say that it wasn't that big a deal. Like what excuse you how can someone even think like that. I felt like o was bothering the nurses if i came in too often or if I didn't it was very stressful.

My first baby is in the nicu. I just had her on July 16th. I’m not mentally well at all and really doesn’t help having unsupportive family 😞 I know your pain momma. It’s so hard. There’s no words to describe the sadness. I just pray for her all day and all night 🙏🏻 may god bring his healing hands upon our sweet babies and give them the comfort they need in this hard ti
