My experience is that my best friend from 6th grade. So we were super duper close friends and we would study and work together. I’ve known him for 4 years now (I’m in 8th) and we would text daily. And one day he approached me saying, “can you text me a different way. My mom doesn’t want me to text people” but we would text about class and I didn’t see a problem. And his mom found out again and just blocked me on her own. He was upset but we still talked at school assuming it wasn’t a problem since she didn’t like texting. The following year he ghosted me. I then found out his mom yelled at him over the summer saying “that girl is trying to get better grades than you, you can’t be friends with her” and he was forced to oblige. But the thing is she was fine with everyone but me. She allows other people to text him.

I have something similar happen.
For contacts, I was a freshman in a culinary class and we were going to do a project where the group had to travel to one of our houses and cook a meal and present it in class. The House in question just so happened to be mine, after we got the project done and everybody was trying to go home, this one Karen came up and asked the ruckus was about. The conversation sort of went like this
Karen: "what happened? why are there so many people in your house?"
Me : "oh, nothing I was do-" she cut me off
Karen: "you were doing dr*gs, weren't you?"
Me: visibly pissed "if you didn't cut me off then I can go explain-" she cut me off and tried to barge her way into my house
Karen: LET me GET the DR*GS!
Me: somehow preventing a 150 pound female from trespassing "STOP trying to get into my house or I will call the police"
You backed off and acted like I attacked her once I called the police, eventually the cops did get her to leave me alone, and just to be sure I let them search my house without a warrant (I know it was a stupid decision on mine but it's fine) after they confirmed I wasn't doing any dr*gs, they left you told me to have a good rest of the day
Op's note: that Karen (never got her name) always bothered me whenever they thought I was doing something illegal, which was any time I got home from school early and/or my parents weren't home
