I had a miscarriage in May, and I kept blaming myself even though logically I know it was nothing I did. It was also an incredibly stressful time at work and in my personal life. It wasn’t the time for a baby, and my stress levels could have harmed her. But now I know I can get pregnant and that I can be a mother one day, because I had worried about that for years. I named her Eden, and think of her often, but she was there to show me the way forward.
