I was once was very introverted and didn't like being in big crowds with people I didn't know. I wasn't loud or obnoxious, and I was labeled as a goody goody or bible thumper. But I also had only just turned 20 when I met my now future husband and that was a very long time ago. We met at bible college, I had just gotten out of a long term relationship and told God I was done with men and wanted to pursue Him. And I did! Until my husband left the country and I realized I missed his friendship.
16 years later I'm sure he couldn't have imagined where our journey together would take us and maybe even wonder who he even married and if he got in too deep with me!
I'm not the same person I was at 20. I have grown a lot and changed a lot. I am no longer afraid of going places alone, I enjoy being around people, I'm a little bit too much for some people and still love Jesus. But I'm also not perfect. I have very little patience, sometimes yell, am very passionate about the things I love, I'm loud, and love to explore and try new things that can scare my family. The whole rv lifestyle was a dream of mine, to give up everything we owned from a very comfortable life, and go explore the world. To leave my home country and explore his. It's crazy when I think about the choices we made or even how crazy it was that I could get my husband to agree to it. It may have looked extreme to others, but so far, we have made it! And for that, I'm truly grateful. Grateful he put up with me, still chooses me and wants to do life with me. No matter how loud I am or how crazy my dreams are! 🥰
