Cows shouldn't graze on the sour patch.

Candy? Damn. Before I moved for school my family used to pick up the expired bread from the food bank every week to feed to our cows😬 can confirm it makes a difference though, lots of dairy farmers out here cut their feed with palm oil cus it’s cheap and it makes the butter tastes like as

My grandpa had cows and a big garden with corn in it. One day a cow got into the garden. They broke those stalks with their tongue and feasted on the whole thing!

I remember my husband hauling loads of candy to cattle farms, but not dairies. I was like "WTF?????"

I used to work in the hazardous waste industry. I was shocked by what diverted hazardous waste was fed to cows.

I know a lot of people with cattle, and I've never heard of anyone feeding them candy. Where the hell do you buy
second-hand candy anyway? 🤣 🤣

This is why my grocery bill is so high. We eat, at minimum, grass fed/free range meat with no added antioxidant and products from grass fed/free range animals with no added antibiotics. We prefer organic as well when we can afford it.

Diet is one of the most important pieces of your health.

That's why I like milk from some brands and not others. I couldn't tell you what specifically they're feeding the cows that makes the difference in taste, but I know that something they eat is affecting the flavor.

I don’t know what the quality of the butter would be like, but I’d be more concerned for the health of the cow

IMO - I believe & have faith that a cow would eventually crush the stalk & find the corn. FYI - it took while to spell "stalk" (stuck, stock) TY

Cows will graze a corn plant. Corn is grass. So are all the other cereal grains. More specifically, what we consider as corn (the kernel) is the seed of the Zea mays grass species. When cattle graze they consume the whole plant, seeds and all. It’s a natural part of their diet. This is why grass-fed is nothing more than marketing. All cattle are grass-fed. As for feeding candy, you need to think about the nutritional makeup of that candy and realize how those nutrients could be used in a mixed ration to meet the nutritional needs of that animal. Feeding candy is an amazing way to reduce waste and reuse the nutrient resources within it. Properly feeding leftover candy is good for the cow, good for the economy, and good for the environment.
