In this video, I’ll walk you through:
How to do internet speed test via browser. If possible, use Google chrome. You can do it either on your mobile or your pc/laptop.
Search for "Internet Speed Test" on Google chrome.
The reason I'm telling you to use Google Chrome to do internet speed test is because of the first result. The first result will be of M-Lab. Now, M-Lab has a partnership with Google.
Click on "Run Speed ​​Test". It will show you three results related to your internet speed test. The first two are "Downloading Speed" and "Uploading Speed".
Speed is measured in megabits per second (Mbps). Remember that while downloading, all your files will be in bytes and not bits. For example, kilobyte, megabyte, gigabyte. One byte means eight bits.
Once the internet speed test is completed, the third result will show "Latency". Latency means (in simple words) how fast you are getting a response from the server. And the number will be in milliseconds.
The final result will give you a general idea of how fast your internet speed is.
