I am a Toyota head for a reason. They make better vehicles than Ford, RAM, Dodge, Chevrolet o GMC. I have 5 Toyotas at the moment, but bcs they messed up the new Tundra and Tacoma I bought a Frontier Pro-4X and have no regrets.

Hey Untamed or anyone else, would you lean towards the Frontier with the 2025 refresh or a ZR2? Probably waiting for a couple years now on a Tacoma.
Open to different manufacturers, just looking at midsize trucks that cost a little less than Toyotas current pricing.

Got a 2024 Black Pro4x fully loaded with leather, sunroof, Fender audio and every option for 45k. An sr5 Tacoma with no options was 46k 😂😂😂 with a turbo

I just picked up a 2005 LX 470 with 200k miles for $12k and is more capable, luxurious, and reliable than all of those. It's built like a tank. New vehicles feel like they're made by Fisher Price. Forget buying anything new and just get something reliable and used.

There’s a reason it’s so much cheaper and they’re so readily available, you get what you pay for. I had a 23 and just recently picked up a 24 at4x and it’s not even a comparison tbh, the canyon is better in every single way and the frontier just feels dated imo, the ride is much, much harsher than the at4x and I seem to be getting better fuel mileage as well even with a 3” lift and 33” tires that are also way better than the cheap hankooks you get on the frontier. This is an honest review from someone who recently owned one

Not only price, but towing capability and strength of engine make the Nissan a better guy.

Nissan is definitely rockin it but I went in to Lease one and they pull from Equifax which is like the LOWEST of the three bureaus. Waste of time. I hope Toyota can fix these issues on the new Gen.
