😂 Ok I've gone round and round with the Nara debate. I understand both sides. I like her videos, they are inspiring. But they are also misleading. Obviously being a content creator takes time and planning as you know. She makes it seem like she just woke up and happened to have all the ingredients to make bubble gum and has all this free time as a mom to do that. It's misleading to stay at home moms and can often make them feel like they are failing as moms because it sets an unrealistic expectation of what motherhood is like. Now like I said I do enjoy her videos. I never thought about making bubble gum until I saw her make it and now I want to give it a try. BUT as a stay at home mom I have to remind myself that content creation is her job. She plans it out and has someone watch the kids so she can create videos. And that's ok. But that's not my life. One of the reasons I like your videos is because you also make realistic videos of what it is like to be a mom. You inspire me AND remind me that being a mom is hard and that's ok. I'm not a bad mom for feeling that way.

I’ve gotta say I find it odd how much hate she gets, ive seen people say she’s spoiling her kids but like you said it’s her love language. In many cultures all over food is seen as a universal sign of love from parents, and I have to admit all the meals I remember most from when I was a kid were the homemade ones. Although that may in large part be because my mom worked multiple jobs and had to figure out childcare on her own (despite being married) so she often times had to just make stuff from a box or whatever but when we asked she would make sure to make us what we wanted even on occasion taking hours longer to make home made hand mashed potatoes on some random Tuesday because one of her kids wanted the homemade mashed potatoes instead of store bought.

I love making from scratch what I can! I can’t make everything but just doing my best is fun and also more healthy, it just takes time 😊
