I have a pet bird, and when I’m wearing my noise-canceling headphones she always sneaks up on me 😅 She’s also been known to hide in the shower when I have guests over and spook them by talking to herself. I’m so glad you faced your fear and got to meet QUEEN OWL!

As a sighted person with a parrot, I need to keep my eyes on him to read his body language cues and know if he wants to be touched or if he's going to bite me. Glad you got to experience a very sweet bird (and under supervision from those who would know if she wasn't feeling it that day!).

An owl sounds like literally one of the most terrifying things if you're blind. Silent? Predator? Doesn't vibrate the ground? Sounds like an incredibly justified fear, good work on facing it!!!
