The body never lies.

Love and control can look the same on the outside. Attention, praise, even devotion.

But if you’ve ever been caught in a cycle of love-bombing and punishment, you know the difference isn’t in the words… it’s in the body.

Your body will always tell the truth.

Does your chest relax or tighten when they walk into the room?

Does your gut feel warm or does it brace for impact?

Do you feel free, or do you feel tethered?


Before bed, try this: write a simple question to Spirit. It can be as direct as, “Is this love or control?”

Then let your dreams, your body, and your waking moments show you the answer.

✨ Reflect for a moment:

Have you ever felt like your true essence was targeted and mocked in your most vulnerable moments?

Instead of your tenderness being met and reciprocated, was it met with coldness, rejection, or even humiliation?

Did your compassion ever get turned into a hook for someone else’s control?

If so — know this: that was not love.

Love is the antidote.

Real love cherishes your tenderness instead of mocking it.

Real love receives your compassion with gratitude, not manipulation.

Real love holds your vulnerability with safety, never as a weapon.


The test is simple:

Love feels like safety.

Control feels like fear.

Your body knows the difference.


And when you look into their eyes — the windows of the soul — ask yourself:

Do I see reverence, desire, and acceptance all at once?

Do I feel celebrated, wanted, and safe?
That’s what it feels like to come home.

Your body has always known the truth. The question is… are you listening?
