This incredible event occurred during King Hezekiah's reign in Judah. The Assyrian king, SENNACHERIB, laid siege to Jerusalem, MOCKING GOD and threatening its destruction. In desperation, Hezekiah TURNED TO GOD, praying for deliverance. This POWERFUL act reveals GOD'S SOVEREIGNTY and His ability to PROTECT His people. It is a reminder that NOTHING can stand against GOD'S WILL and that His POWER is truly UNMATCHED!
