We look at the 2 episodes of 'communal' targetting which took place in India a few days back. The first one in a government school in Uttar Pradesh, Muzzafarnagar, where a minor boy was slapped by his classmates on the instructions by his Teacher. The 2nd episode where in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir, a minor student boy was thrashed by his Teacher and Principal for writing the slogan of Jai Shri Ram on the board of his class room. FIR's have been filed in both cases by the respective State administrations. We however analyse the different reactions and the different slants in the news coverage of the 2 events.
