While many knew him for his incredible power in the ring and his iconic grill, George’s greatest transformation came after his 1977 loss to Jimmy Young. In a moment of deep spiritual awakening, he surrendered his life to Christ, walking away from boxing at just 28 years old to become a minister. Since 1980, he dedicated his life to preaching at The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, inspiring countless lives with his faith and testimony.
