Everyone in the comments talking about how Katniss takes out Coin because she's basically Snow v2, but also it's absolutely personal. It is heavily implied, if not outright stated, that Coin is responsible for her sister's death. Prim was on the ground in a place that was bombed in a manner that Gale came up with.
It's also suggested that it was deliberate on Coin's part. To break Katniss entirely, so she would advocate on Coin's side for the Final Hunger Games using Capitol children.
Katniss isn't just cutting down a future tyrant, she's avenging her little sister.

The reason she killed Coin was difficult for me to figure it out but I think I know.
So coin had planned a ācapitol kids hunger gamesā to get back at the capitol. But the think is coin was becoming just like snow because the kids did nothing! It was all the capitol ADULTS and same for the district kids did nothing but snow didnāt care. Snow and coin were both the villains in their own respective way. Katniss did a good thing and was replayed horribly for it.

I never rlly liked the films but this scene hits so different in the books like she's in the middle of seven consecutive breakdowns and Coin shoves her into this high pressure situation like girly she is not stable enough to be playing this game rn (as well as it being implied coin did the bombing and how district 13 treats her makeup crew)
