I worked for Sears 30 years ago. Only the beam style torque wrench was lifetime warranty . Not everything Craftsman was lifetime warranty.

Been like that for several years unfortunately, cheaper product and build so they won't be profitable

I stopped buying craftsman over a decade ago when they moved manufacturing overseas. Craftsman torque wrenches have always sucked though regardless. I usually buy Husky now because its mostly easy to warranty tools and their torque wrenches are lifetime warranty.

Why are you in the passenger seat? Is it because you got a DUI?

Time for crapsman to be a thing of the past

To many people traded them in for lock rings and they got rid of the warranty all together. I'm on your side though. Not acceptable! Craftsman is a name of the past.

Proof that buying a name or a brand doesn't always mean you are getting better..

All my torque wrenches are Snap On. Wouldn't trust a Crapsman even when the warranty was good. That being said, all of my GOOD measuring tools are Snap On, Starrett, Mitutoya, Fowler, Ohaus or Sunnen, etc ... i'll never trust good measuring tools to home owner grade tools like Craftsman, Central, Harbor Frieght or whatever cheapies are out there .... spend the money or end up like this guy whining on YouTube about having to buy another cheap wrench that isn't accurate anyway .... now, you'll have to buy it again and spend what a Snap On would've cost you when you bought that wrench and Snap On would still fix it now .... you get what you pay for. People hate Snap On prices, but you get a good USA made product that they stand behind. Just saying .... the price of my dial type 1/4" Snap On torque wrench will make your head spin and i bought it over 10 years ago and only use it to set pinion preload when building rear ends. Got it at 50% off, brand new too.
