The Louvre Museum there in Paris looks so beautiful, and thanks for sharing Lucile!

I'm not French, but spent 4 summers in Paris & went over a dozen other times on trips of a few weeks each.
Have a plan is the best tip and the second-best tip is to go on a Wednesday or Friday.
The Louvre used to stay open until 10 pm on Thursday nights, making it possible to see more of the museum on one visit.
Apparently, now it is open until 9 pm on Wednesday and Friday nights.
As the evening goes on, the crowds get very thin. There might be 15 or 20 people in the gallery where the Mona Lisa was (I understand they are building a new gallery for her).
The way I see the Louvre is go up to the first floor and start with the grand galleries of the Denon wing, where David's "Coronation of Napoleon" is.
Then I go downstairs and check out the ancient Egyptian stuff.
From there, I pick a section to explore, generally one I have not been to recently.

I visited the Louvre Museum for the first time in January this year. All the pieces were great. I regret not seeing The Card Sharp with the Ace of Diamonds😢 Because that floor was closed
