I keep on saying this: Lots of anxiety is low blood sugar.
Low blood sugar activate adrenaline and cortisol. Cortisol especially can feel like anxiety. When I started avoiding low blood sugar, by eating enough, enough easily digestible protein and carbs, and often enough, more than 70% of my "emotional life" disappeared in months. It was more efficient than a decade of therapy, embodiment work and meditation, although I'm sure the foundation was helpful and I would recommend all that too.
