We’ve got what looks like rosehip on our land. I’m worried in case we misidentify it and eat something poisonous. Are there other fruits that look similar?

Does this work on Rugosa Roses? We have Rugosa, Woods, and Prickly rose in Alberta but Rugosa are the only ones worth eating

I cut them in half and remove the hairy bits and seeds and eat the rest! Am I going to be okay 😅

Yours don't seem to have spikes. Our Dog Rose rose hips have tiny spikey hairs on the outside. Or have you removed them? :)
