As audiences brace for the fifth installment of the mighty Mad Max franchise to roar into cinemas this week, ReelTalk sat down with Hemsworth and Taylor-Joy to discuss the epic origin story of renegade warrior Furiosa. Taylor-Joy who stars as Furiosa tells Ben how she drew on inspiration from Charlize Theron’s turn of the character in 2015’s Mad Max: Fury Road and the challenge of learning to to drive a car and a motorbike for the first time on set.

While Hemsworth, who plays villain Dementus, tells Ben it was equally nerve-racking and exciting to be cast in an iconic Aussie movie franchise, while also revealing a family connection to the original Mad Max movies.

Written and directed by George Miller (see last week’s video!) Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga is in cinemas from May 24.
