Confidence is key! I’ve never been a fan of saying “I’m not sure I can do that.” …even if I’ve never done it before, it’s always “Sure, no problem!” and it gets figured out.
If later on, it turns out I can’t actually fulfill the request for whatever reason, an apology doesn’t mean the end of the working relationship. And this very rarely happens.
