Amazing finding a tag so easy!! When you put it in the only easy place and first place to look.
Former officer here that had to get a warrant…. To place an actual “ tag “ on a vehicle…. We .. place them in places not easily accessible there….
Unless we have no real choice and even then.. you can’t really without knowing exactly you won’t find it.
But really amazing you had your little gadget out to find that !!
And so everyone knows. In 23 years of being a policeman…. 1 time. 1 time only did we ever use a tracking device…. In connection with other higher level law enforcement groups.
We tracked a vehicle 900 miles through 5 states…. So imagine…. It costs money and there were over 200 people on this. So don’t believe you are important enough to have a tracking device!! Air tags from an ex wife maybe she’s nutty enough…. They are easily defeated on a vehicle.. those shown here. Think about it.

If you are placing the AirTag in your car, put it inside a panel that requires them to remove a part of your car, and take 1 min to remove the speaker of the AirTag, guaranteed after the try to plan the sound and don’t hear it, they gonna leave your car on the side of the road, becuase they know you aren’t far behind haha
