In this short lesson (2:33), I’ll help you understand when to use "lui" and "leur"—two essential indirect object pronouns in French! 📝

🔹 What are Indirect Object Pronouns?
➡️ Lui = "to him" / "to her"
➡️ Leur = "to them"

📌 Use "lui" or "leur" with verbs that take "à quelqu’un" (to someone):

Parler à (to speak to)
Poser une question à (to ask a question to)
Rendre visite à (to visit someone)
Répondre à (to answer)
Téléphoner à (to call)
📌 Other verbs that use "lui" or "leur" with people & sometimes things:

Demander (to ask)
Dire (to say/tell)
Donner (to give)
Écrire (to write)
Envoyer (to send)
Montrer (to show)
Prêter (to lend)
Rendre (to return)
✨ PRO TIP: Write this list down! ✍️ Practicing sentences will help you remember when to use "lui" and "leur" correctly!

To me every verb that goes with à has this feeling of something moving from me to someone/something. Like, donner is obvious, but also parler à...like, my speaking goes from me to someone. I hope it makes sense lol
